Do these work in my setup?
Yes. Every skill is pure prompt. No API keys, no plugins, no browser tools, nothing to install. They run in Claude Code and in Hermes, and they work by reading what you paste. If your assistant reads a markdown skill file, these run.
How is this different from the free skill dumps?
The free lists are thousands of thin wrappers or tool-bound scripts that break the moment an API changes. These carry real method inside the file: scoring rubrics, decision rules, templates. And they come from someone who runs a live agent fleet in production, not a scraper.
Can I edit them?
